Go Green

How many times have you heard or said the saying; prevention is better than cure? It’s a saying we are all familiar with and it is generally used to remind us to take better care of our health, but the same can also be said of our skin. Taking good care of our skin can prevent and forestall problems with it. Today so many of us are focused on the condition of our skin and the affects of ageing and industrialization on our skin but in our quest to find the right products are we actually reaching for products that could harm, rather than help, our skin. And, should we actually go green when it comes to skin care?

Open up your bathroom cabinets and take a look at some of the lotions and potions you have in there. Read the list of ingredients. How many of them contain ingredients you have never heard of, or ingredients with letters and numbers, or names you cannot pronounce? Many of them I expect, unless you have already applied the go green message to your skin care regime.

Dr Domanskis is a practicing plastic surgeon from California. He began researching skin care when he realized prevention was better than cure even in skin care. At this time he started using a variety of skin care products to test their results on the skin and whilst he could see the noticeable benefits of some of the products, he was shocked by the ingredients of many of them. Thus Dr Domanskis decided to go green and develop a more natural product.

Chemicals are often used in skin care products but what do we really know about what we use on our skin? When Dr Domanskis began to notice that most of what he was using contained primarily synthetic chemicals he decided to research natural alternatives in an effort to go green. His aim was to develop a natural skin care alternative that prevented and corrected skin problems and offered a way of maintaining healthy skin.

The result is a skin care range called Organoderm which has been developed to meet three strict criteria; it must be made entirely of living matter and natural, organic and botanical ingredients; it must be elegant in its formulation and; it must be effective. In addition to this, Dr Domanskis extended his go green message to containers and packaging. Organoderm is packaged in non-degradable containers with minimal packaging and the company has a recycling program in place.

You too can go green by using the Organoderm range of products which includes all of your skin care needs including a cleanser, exfoliator and eye rejuvenator. Not only is the range environmentally friendly and completely natural and organic, it has been developed after years of research by a Doctor whose goal it was to improve the quality of his customer’s skin without the use of harsh chemicals.

If you would like to go green and start using Organoderm go to www.organoderm.com for more information and to shop online. You can also contact Organoderm on 1-877-9-Organoderm (674266).

Our Organic Lotion is Completely Natural

If you are looking for quality skin care which does not pump your skin full of harmful chemicals, skin care which also takes into account the fragile and precious nature of our environment, then we can offer you a skin care solution which is both skin and Earth friendly. Products such as our organic lotion are made with natural plant and vegetable-derived extracts which are known to offer various benefits and all of our products come in packaging which is fully recyclable – we even use a special ink which does not hinder the recycling process on our labels.

Buy Organic Skin Care which is USDA Certified

According to laws passed at the beginning of the 1990s, The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) logo which incorporates the word ‘organic’ is only allowed to be displayed on products which have at least 95% certified organic ingredients. Products have to undergo controlled handling and processing in order to ensure that suppliers’ products really are fully organic. We have managed to transcend the difficulties inherent to creating skin care without synthetic preservatives and other chemicals, to offer products which qualify to display not only the USDA logo but the Circle of Green logo as well.

Organic Face Cream to Revitalize the Skin

A large number of commercial face creams which have anti-ageing properties are peppered with any number of non-organic ingredients, some of which are untested and therefore not a hundred percent safe to use on sensitive areas of skin such as the face. Our organic face cream/age signs corrector contains a number of plant-based extracts which have been tested to show anti-wrinkle effectiveness. Our organic face cream can be added to a fully organic hygiene routine, for maximum benefits and clear, refreshed skin.

A Light Organic Lotion for Face and Body

The organic lotion we supply is light and is therefore suitable for both facial and body use. Organic Aloe Vera is one of the ingredients contained – this plant is known for not only soothing properties but healing and anti-irritation properties as well. With an organic moisturizer, you can smooth and soften your skin without fear of harmful ingredients doing simultaneous damage. Natural extracts with antioxidant functions will help to afford your skin additional protection from harmful UVB rays, although a sunscreen product should be used as well for better protection. We offer a day sun protector lotion with in-built damage protection.

We Use Our Organic Skin Care to Increase Breast Cancer Awareness

With our organic skin care, it is not only our mission to provide a product which is respectful of the environment; we also seek to increase breast cancer awareness through the inclusion of the pink ribbon symbolizing breast cancer on our products’ containers. A portion of profits is also donated to breast cancer research initiatives, so that by buying our products you can also play a small part in helping to improve prevention and treatment methods for this disease.
