Dr. Jonas Domanskis is a practicing plastic surgeon in Newport Beach, California who has devoted time to the research and development of Organoderm organic natural skin care products for over ten years. Recycling is a prime concern and Organoderm enables enthusiastic recyclers in a considered and practical fashion.

Organoderm organic skin care products are supplied in larger-sized containers than the traditional skin care industry standards which minimizes the carbon footprint. Organoderm uses approximately thirty percent less container materials overall and uses no external wrap, tags, packaging or boxes which further reduces the need to cut down more trees. The products are shipped in recyclable envelopes. With recycling firmly in mind Organoderm's containers, caps, foamers and tubes are either fabricated from PETE (1 on recycling code) or polypropelene (5 on recycling code), materials which are both fully recyclable. The recycling code and symbol is imprinted on the bottom of containers and special ink is used to ensure that it does not interfere with, but actually facilitates the recycling process.

The ingredients selected for the Organoderm's organic skin care formulations are harvested in a manner that protects the delicately balanced eco system and helps to preserve and sustain natural botanical sources and co-existing flora and fauna. Absence of excessive paper cartons and inserts raises consumer awareness through conscientious consumption. It also raises plant conservation responsibility in the thinking of consumers which helps to reduce waste and diminish landfills. For households that have no recycling bins Organoderm provides downloadable labels from the United States Post Office. After cutting out a label it only needs to be affixed to an empty Organoderm container, preferably with non-toxic glue such as Elmers, which can be dropped into any mail box in the country. The container will be sent directly to Organoderm's contracted recycling company - Allan Company in Baldwin Park California - and Organoderm even pays for the postage.

Under Dr. Domanskis guidance and direction the cosmetic chemists of Organoderm have achieved the difficult task of formulating organic ingredients for the skin care products without using any chemicals found to be harmful and the talented team is grateful to all those who participated in the testing process.
